2023-04-23 GenAI for East Asian Studies The first GenAI workshop for East Asian Studies at Harvard. I co-organized and co-instructed this workshop with Hongsu Wang, the senior manager of CBDB. The material for this workshop is in the GitHub repository which you can use the link on the left.
2024-02-23 Generative AI for Chinese Studies Workshop (Introductory) This is a introductory workshop for the Chinese Studies community at Harvard University.
2024-03-14 Crafting Effective Inquiries in ChatGPT and More!: A Hands-on Workshop for East Asian Libraries This was a workshop that I taught at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Council of East Asian Libraries.
2024-09-20 Adopting GenAI for Literary Sinitic Studies This is the first workshop of the GenAI for Literary Sinitic Studies series at Harvard University. The series was a semester long activity hosted by the Digital China Initiative. I organized and instructed all workshops of the series.
2025-01-16 Practical GenAI for East Asian Libraries This workshop introduces the basic concepts of generative AI and provides practical examples of how to use generative AI in East Asian library context.
2025-01-17 From Unstructured to Structured Data This workshop introduces the basic concepts of This workshop is designed for East Asian Studies graduate students and faculty interested in integrating digital tools and methods into their learning and research processes. Participants will gain practical skills in utilizing AI-assisted tools for East Asian Studies research. Students, faculty, and researchers in the humanities more broadly may also find the workshop useful.
